Who We Are:
MIJOY is owned by friends and business partners Tracy Pollak and Sandy Lee. We began MIJOY in 2008 after developing our first eco friendly children's product, The Whole Gift "Inspire Me" Set.
We were concerned with all of the toy recalls in the fall of 2007, due to high amounts of lead in toys and we saw money wasted in of all the toys that our children got that Christmas. It took us hours to get all of the packages open and it created huge piles of trash. Our children were excited with each toy but within days or weeks they were pushed aside and forgotten. We felt inspired to create a product for our children that was mindful, that they would be able to use often, that was safe, and that was eco friendly.
We spent months developing our new idea and The Whole Gift "Inspire Me" Set was born to address all of our concerns.
As mothers and business women, we have a common interest in expanding personal awareness, living more consciously, and stewardship of the earth and it’s community. The foundation of our business is built upon the strengths and experiences of each of us and the principles of the opportunity we saw to fill a need.
